Bayou Care Sitters
“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

Independent Living means exercising the greatest degree of choice about where you live, with whom you live, how you live, and how you use your time. It promotes confidence and self-esteem as well as motivation and perseverance. It fosters self-reliance, allowing our clients to feel they have control over their lives

We service Louisiana Region 8. Ouachita, Caldwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Richland, Tensas, Union, and West Carroll. If a need arises, we will also strive to accommodate anyone who requires service outside this geographical area.

About us

Home service includes companionship, preparing meals, personal hygiene, managing medications, completing household chores, driving/coordinating transportation, and maintaining personal finances. Someone who has difficulty with any of these daily "independent" activities can benefit from an assisted living service.

Who can obtain Service

Certain segments of the population will find our services especially beneficial, such as people who are frail, elderly, housebound, terminally, chronically, or acutely ill, physically or mentally challenged, recently discharged from hospital, family caregivers, and accident victims. Our services are available to private citizens and a wide range of agencies, institutes, corporations, groups, Veterans Affairs, and the Public. We serve ages 0 and up.

Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to meet clients' needs and preferences.
